District Bishop and Women’s Ministry Director

IMG_1501Charles Folkner is the newly elected District Bishop for the Pentecostal Church of God, Arizona District, since December of 2016.

Charles Folkner is married to CeCe Folkner, they have been happily married for 47 years. They have 3 children: Shawna Avery, Michael Folkner, David Folkner. Son-in-law Brian Avery, 2 Daughter in laws Tammy Folkner and Sarah Folkner. Charles and CeCe have 10 wonderful grandchildren.

Charles Folkner has served as a minister in the Pentecostal Church of God for 50 years, as an Ordained Minister, 45 years. Bishop Folkner has had a very active Spirit-Filled ministry. He has served the body of Christ in many facets of ministry, Local and District Youth Director, Pastoral ministry for 45 years, CFO/District secretary, and he served as an executive pastor for the Trinity Broadcasting Network church.

During his years of ministry he has traveled across the United States and other nations ministering in local churches, Bible Colleges, conferences, Men’s Retreat’s and Youth camps. He has held international conferences in Ensenada, Tijuana, Jamaica, Japan and Canada. Teacher & mentoring instructor for PeopleLink Corporation, training in conversational English/Cultural Exchange Program.

He was the founder/administrator of Lighthouse Christian ACE school, director of give every child a chance after school program. He has served as a district board member/general board member with the PCG, executive board member of World Hope Ministries (TBN).

He is Author of “A fresh start for today’s Walk with God”. Developing Church Membership, “Key to Life Lessons”. “Marketing your Ministry”. Co-Author “Rising to Higher Dimensions of Ministry”.

His passion and desire is to find the directive of the Holy Spirit to connect with a Team of Leaders that will move to a level of commitment that will reach into the next generation.

His desire is to be a spiritual father and raise up son’s & daughters in ministry, to watch God bring new and needed resources, and to be an encourager that will build a team to accomplish growth in the kingdom of God.
